Logging in for the first time using Simple User ID (One Time Password sent via SMS Text Message)
When a new user is set up using ‘Simple User ID’ as the two-factor authentication log-in method, the following steps should be followed to log in.
- You will have been provided with a six digit user ID. This user ID is static, and will remain the same for all subsequent log ins.
- On the Mantle website (https://app.mantlehosting.co.uk ) use this 6-digit code as your username, and the temporary password which you have been provided, and click the ‘Login’ button

- You will get an authentication code sent via SMS to the mobile number you specified for your account. This will be delivered alongside a Reference number and will look like this:

- Enter the Authentication code into Mantle and click ‘Submit’:

- You will then be asked to create a password for your account. Once you have selected your password, click ‘Submit’:

- You will be logged into Mantle and notified that your password has been updated successfully. For future logins you will use your static user ID and the password you set yourself. Each log in you will receive a code via SMS test Message and should follow the steps above.

- If your organisation has Single Sign On (SSO) functionality configured with Mantle, you will receive a pop up box at this point, asking if you would like to use Single Sign On. You can click 'Yes Please' if you would like to log in using SSO from this point onwards. If you do not have SSO configured but would like to enquire about it, you can log a ticket with our Support Team for further information.
