Setting a Minimum NRA for Calculations
The following provides guidance on how to restrict the ages at which quotations/events can be calculated at.
Access the Plan via Plan Setup and expand Benefit Categories.
Select the relevant benefit category and then expand and select from the Member Events. If more than one event is required, you will need to update each.
Expand the Event Settings section, as below, you will see options to set a minimum and maximum date. From here you can select the data item to link for each age by clicking the pencil icon. You will need to have already set up the data item which calculates the date for the required age.

Additionally, where a Plan provides quotations through My Pocket Pension (MPP), two other additional items can be created.
These items are accessed as above but rather than through Member Events, expand Benefit Items.
You can create a data item to determine if a member reaches age 55 before 6 April 2028. An example of how this can be set up is as follows:

Use the Function – Conditionals: conditional_float_from_date_comparison.
Set your conditional ages as 55 and 57 (or any other appropriate age as per the plan benefit basis).

This new data item can then feed into your Minimum Age for MPP. An example of this item is shown below.

This item is specifically tagged as the Minimum NRA for the MPP calculations through this section here in the setup.

The Function can then be set to constantly point to the new data item above – or any other such item you wish to use to determine the minimum NRA.
